What are cockroaches?

Cockroaches are identified by their flattened bodies, long, thin antennae, and small heads. When viewed from above, their heads are concealed by a plate-like structure called a pronotum. Most cockroaches are brown, black, tan, or reddish-brown in color. Cockroaches use their six legs to move quickly from place to place, most have wings, but many species have non-functional wings.

American cockroaches, Oriental cockroaches, German cockroaches, and Turkestan cockroaches are examples of cockroaches that find their way into our Sacramento homes and businesses.

The best way to determine the exact species that you are seeing on your property is to partner with an experienced professional like Green Day Pest Control!
